It’s been a while since the last time I read a Bomberman B-daman Manga.. Because I bought used books, I’m thinking that the books can get worn out pretty soon, so I decided to make a scanlation since nobody has scanlated it. So, this project is supposed to be my first one.. The reason I choose the Bakushouden Victory first, because I accidentally bought two of them.. Well, the debinding was successful, but in case anything happen I chose the double one first.. Btw, the raw is an Indonesian language, so feel free to contact me if anything translated in wrong way..I started cleaning some of the first chapter, the constrain is I;m never good at re-drawing something. “Meet the Characters” page which is supposed to be re-drawn end up pretty dented especially around Midoribon’s body. Sorry for that, but I can manage to cover it with words..The other problem is this manga seems to use a lot of pattern stickers.. Because I use neat image for the filtering, the pattern sometimes come in distorted but bold type, or bold pattern. This makes the characters pattern to be unsyncronize in some pages.. Well, neat image makes the pattern and other part cleaner, if I don’t use them, the raws themselves are pretty dirty with a lot of dust around the pattern, and white places. Well, for this scanlation I also chose the pattern to be distorted.. It looks more neat than the real manga pattern.. Maybe I need to learn more about cleaning..

For translation, Smokie is the one who is responsibled. He decided to use “OH DEAR SWEET MARY MOTHER OF GOD”.. It’s not like to force a Christianity in Bomberman, but the other translation, “WHAT THE?” seems to be too ordinary, and the balloon has a lot of space. So we decided to use it instead because it’s a lot of funnier to hear also..
Also, about the SFX, I personally wanted to edit the Indonesian SFX, but unfortunately, I don’t know any English SFX aside from “Bang!” and “Kapoow”

I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning these days, it even took me from making this ranting.. The pages on chapter 3 are somewhat dirtier than the previous chapter.. I even had to re-draw some parts that were missing due to publisher printing error. Well for chapter 2, I’m sorry that I haven’t managed to make a syncronized tone sticker pattern.. But I will make sure it will on chapter 3.. The SFX will also be changed if I happen to know what they are translated into..

Chapter 3: Here Comes Akabon-Cop!

It’s been a week since the last time release.. It’s because I’m doing my other hobby.. Watching films.. But here we are again reading the 3rd chapter of this manga.. It’s pretty hard to clean, unlike the previous two..

For this chapter problem, I’ve manage to keep the tone pattern synch for this chapter.. So this problem is solved. Unfortunately, I can’t keep the pattern in bold like type.. Also for SFX, Smokie tried to replace every SFX that can be translated to English, in the end almost all SFX were managed to be translated..

For the real problem are, there is a part in page 23 (1) that Aobon’s helm is washed up and missing from printing.. Well, because it looks bad, I managed to re-draw it as good as I can but in the end, it turned up to be “tasteless”.. In the end I kept for my re-drawing cause it looks better rather than keeping the washed up one..
The other problem is in page 28 (6), Akabon’s left hand and a part of Shirobon’s head appear to be washed up as well.. But I don’t think I can redraw this, so I left it as it is.. >_<

Chapter 4: Protect the Museum’s Treasures!

Chapter 4 is out.. I feel that after working on scanlation and read again, this manga gets a lot funnier when I read it in scanlated version rather than the Tankōbon.. Funny tought… I’m just feeling that I should give more time to scanlation, but I want to watch films and I want to play with my pets, and I want to play a lot of games.. Oh I wish that time could go a little longer.. As for films, I’ve been watching Inside I’m Dancing (2004).. It’s a very very great film… I hope that anyone who’s reading this ranting could watch that incredible movie..

It’s sad I guess. Having a lot of games in iPad and my PC, having a lot of films in my Harddisk, and having a lot of pets arround me and I STILL WANT MORE!!!

Chapter 5 is not so funny I think. But for the translation, I suggest Smokie to use Blimey O’Reilly to improvised things..

About the chapter 5′s scanlation progress, I’m a little bit lazy at cleaning.. Just finishing about 1-2 pages/ day.. Althought I could do more, I spent more times on watching film.. Sorry ’bout that.. Some of the films that I watched were Alien (Which I haven’t watch!! Althought it released 32 years ago..) and Vampire Hunter D.

Like I said in previous ranting, I haven’t really had the time to play some game. In the end, I’m playing Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus and Metal Gear Solid Touch when I was waiting order in the cafe or while I was traveling in passenger seat. It’s terrific to play in the car in bumpy road (my city asphalt is very bumpy).. It felt like I was playing in reality.. Lol..
Right now, I’m planning to collect all of bomberman games ever available and I’ll play them when my eyes are tired from seeing to much pixels (@.@).. I think this will make me a bomberman geek, no?

btw, I really hate m&c publisher.. Many parts of the printing got distorted and it just makes me sick of buying an indonesian manga..

Chapter 6: Grab the Krismond!

ooohh.. It seems like this chapter project seems to be the worst, althought the pages themself are clean as it could be, but there’s a lot of problems coming around especially from my water source.. It seems like our landlord’s flat old water pump has gone awry and burned out. This cause water outage for us about 4 days and still not running normally till now.. The pump itself is being compressed by a damp cloth right now like somebody got a fever.. LoL.. Well it’s all because of the owner of our flats is very ‘Singkek’(a chinese descendant that typically very stingy, throw his sputum everywhere arround and asocial)..

The other problem is I got sick and get a rest for a day, and very unfortunately enough, my coat that giving me warm throught this rainy season got peed by non other than my cat, Babbo Rattles, the crazy lunatic cat that can do a backflip around my bedroom..

About the upcoming chapter, it seems that we will take a break for a while because we feel that we need a holiday and planning a trip up ahead just about 2 days (WHoa.. it’s Christmas Holiday Spirit…). At first, the trip itself is gonna be in this week, but under above-mentioned circumtances, we can’t risk our pets that need to be taken care of without water.. >_<.. Even my fish pond drastically reduce to it's half because our neighbours took it after this water outage..

It's not like that I'm gonna pending this scanlation for a long time, if I still got a free time, I'll keep cleaning and cleaning more pages..

About the bomberman games, I've played the Super Bomberman for SNES.. Yet, it still quite fun playing it although not as fun as Super Bomberman 4, my favourite.. If I have the chance, I'll post a review about that game..

Chapter 7: A Fight in the Ancient Times!

The last December turned out to be disaster.. The trip didn’t go well as the destination place get very crowded and unfortunately enough, I got sick for quite some time (for about some time, I think I was gonna end up in hospital).. And for a bonus, after a little bit of recovery, because recently I played Infinity Blade, my right arm got kinda numb because of too much playing that game.. And after all this fuses, the stupid landlord still has quite a problem with his stepson (the waterpump), but I think this problem was finish for good.. These problems were the cause of all the delay of the chapter 7..

For future projects, I’ll do my best to keep this Bomberman scanlated..

Chapter 8: Shirobon, the Mysterious Thief!

It’s nearly a month, since the last chapter release, I’ve been kinda busy with lately must attend my best friend’s father funeral. It’s not like he died because of some peculiar disease, he died because of medical fraud, psychological stress and old aging. Because this corner functions for ranting, I’ll just say whatever I want to while it’s the truth of what I said.. Well, about psycological stress and old aging I guess it can’t be help, but it’s shocking to see and hear from my best pal’s experience that in Indonesia, the majority of medical expert and medical facility is non other than a fraud and racketeering.. From the idiots while best renowned doctors around town that are speechless about diagnosing the disease (transverse myelitis), the radiology which serve as place for MRI which said to be the best place to do MRI in town (why is it so?), it ended up with my friend paid the bill twice because the nurse forgot to use Gadolinium despite it’s been notified to use it by doctor’s prescription.. The unrespectful hospital’s nurses that must be bribed so they would do their job when the patient hospitalized with ended up in ureter infection because they can’t handle urinary catheters. It’s weird isn’t it, people who’s hospitalized ended up getting worse rather than getting better and he’s being treated with a tailor in the end. Yes.. A tailor were the one who’s treated the patient in the end.. And in some arrogant internist who didn’t care about the patient while answering like machine (e.g. Q: My father is suferring bla3; A: This is the medicine, it must be bought in (his) hospital pharmacy(how cunning);Q: What happen if bla3?; A: Don’t know, it’s not my field; It’s not he’s field but later the patient got lungs inflammation, what kind of internist is that?).. With feeling hatred with all kind of medical job in my country, while the patient in his critical condition, there’s a doctor which really really care even thought and even check the patient condition from time to time.. And the shocking part was, when the patient just died (didn’t have heartbeat), 1 minute later, the doctor came in out of nowhere and doing CPR with tears all around his eyes.. I thought every doctors is immune to the death of their patient, but there’s a few which really care for their patient..

There’s another reason why this chapter going for so long to scanlate.. I must… (with a shy face) clean a Barbie design for my friend’s job. Bwahahaha, don’t worry thought, I’ll not realease that kind of thing to make my site dirty with that blonde dorky looking girl..

Akhir2 ini g malah terlalu banyak “cleaning”, bahkan sampai ga sempet buat pojok unek2 ini.. Halaman2 dari bab 3 lebih kotor daripada bab sebelumnya.. Bahkan mesti ada yang digambar ulang karena ada bagian yang hilang akibat dari cetakan penerbit yang jelek. Untuk bab 2 ini, maaf kalau pola dari gambarnya masih blom bisa sama dan teratur.. Tapi untuk bab 3 ini g janji bakal menjadi lebih bagus dari chapter 2..

Bab 3: Lahirnya Akabon-Cop!

Sudah seminggu sejak rilis chapter sebelumnya.. Ini karena saya sedang melakukan hobi saya yang lain, yaitu menonton film. Tapi sekarang kalian sudah dapat membaca lagi bab ketiga dari manga ini.. Bab 3 ini cukup susah dibersihkan, tidak seperti 2 bab sebelumnya…

Pada bab ini, saya berhasil mempertahankan motif pola gambar sebagaimana seharusnya. Jadi hal yang sebelumnya menjadi masalah di bab 1 dan 2 sudah terpecahkan. Namun sayangnya, saya tidak dapat mempertahankan pola ini pada gambar yang menyeluruh..

Namun, tetap aja ada beberapa masalah. Misalnya di halaman 23, helm Aobon malah kabur dan hilang cetak. Karena hal ini tampak jelek, maka saya berusaha untuk menggambar ulangnya sebaik mungkin, tapi hasilnya ngga sebegitu sempurnanya. Tapi tetap saja lebih baik daripada kesalahan cetak yang asli, sehingga saya pertahankan hasil gambar ini. Masalah lainnya di halaman 28 (6), tangan kiri Akabon dan sebagian dari kepala Shirobon juga kabur.. Tapi karena saya tidak bisa menggambar ulangnya, maka saya biarkan saja seperti apa adanya.. >_<

Bab 3: Lindungi Harta Museum!

Bab 4 sudah keluar.. Saya merasa manga ini jauh lebih lucu setelah membacanya berulang kali sambil melakukan scanlation ini. Jauh lebih lucu daripada membaca Tankobon cetaknya.. Mungkin ini pikiran yang lucu, tapi saya merasa bahwa saya perlu menyediakan waktu yang lebih banyak untuk mengerjakan scanlation, tapi juga saya mau menonton film, bermain dengan piaraan-piaraanku, dan juga bermain games. Andai saja waktu bisa berjalan lebih panjang.. Untuk film, saya baru saja menonton Inside I’m Dancing (2004).. Ini adalah film yang sangat sangat bagus.. Saya harap siapapun yang membaca ini mau menonton film tersebut..

Ironis memang, saya punya banyak games di PC dan iPad, dan juga banyak film di hard disk, dan juga banyak piaraan, tapi saya masih ingin lebih!!!

Chapter 5 tidak begitu lucu g rasa.. Tentang proses scanlationnya, g sedikit males dalam melakukan cleaning.. Hanya beres 1-2 halaman per hari.. Sebenernya sih bisa lebih, tapi g lebih banyak ngabisin waktu sama nonton film.. Sorry ya.. Beberapa film yg g tonton adalah Alien (blm pernah nonton!! pdhl uda rilis 32 taun yg lalu..) dan Vampire Hunter D.

Seperti yg g bilang di ranting sebelumnya, tadinya g ga punya banyak waktu buat main game.. Jadi akhirnya g nyempetin sedikit waktu buat main Modern Combat 2: B lack Pegasus dan Metal Gear Solid Touch kalau lagi nunggu pesanan makanan atau kalau lagi di mobil.. Main di mobil waktu mobilnya lagi berjalan rasanya hebat, karena jalanannya ngga mulus (aspal jalan di kota g hancur).. Jadi rasanya seperti masuk langsung ke dunia game nya.. lol..

Sekarang, g punya rencana mengkoleksi semua game Bomberman yang ada dan g mau maininnya waktu mata g cape dari ngeliat terlalu banyak pixel (@.@). Rasanya ini akan membuat g jadi bomberman geek..

Btw, g bener2 benci penerbit M&C.. Banyak bagian cetaknya yang berantakan dan ini bikin g jadi benci kalau harus beli manga terbitan indonesia..

Bab 6: Rebutlah Krismond!

ooohh.. Sepertinya proyek mengerjakan bab ini jadi yang paling parah, walaupun halaman-halamannya udah cukup bersih, tapi ada masalah lain yg menerpa g.. Salah satunya adalah sumber air.. Sepertinya pompa air milik bapak kost g rusak dan kebakar, sehingga akhirnya g ga ada air buat 4 hari dan sampe sekarang masih belum bener2 normal.. Pompanya sekarang diperbaiki dan dikompres dengan lap basah biar ga kepanasan seperti orang yang kena demam.. LoL.. Semuanya gara2 si bapak kost itu “singkek” (stereotype orang cina yang pelit dan suka meludah, juga asosial)..

masalah lainnya adalah g sempet sakit jadi harus istirahat sehari.. sialnya, mantel g yang jadi penghangat di musim hujan ini dikencingi oleh kucing g, Babbo Rattles, kucing gila yang bisa salto di kamar g..

mengenai chapter selanjutnya, kita bakalan break sejenak soalnya mau liburan dulu selama dua hari di minggu depan.. (wah.. liburan natal..). mestinya liburannya itu minggu ini, tapi gara-gara masalah air di atas g ga mau ambil resiko piaraan ditinggal tanpa air.. >_< bahkan kolam ikannya juga turun drastis airnya karena tetangga2 pada ngambilin buat stok air..

tapi ngga akan pending lama-lama koq scanlationnya.. tiap kali ada waktu senggang, g bakaln cleaning dikit2..

tentang game bomberman, g uda main Super Bomberman versi SNES.. cukup rame walaupun ga serame Super Bomberman 4, favorit g.. klo ada waktu nanti g review gamenya di sini.

Bab 7: Pertempuran di Zaman Purba!

Bulan Desember yang penuh kesialan.. Perjalanannya tidak menyenangkan gara2 tempat wisata yg dituju terlalu padat, dan sialnya lagi, g malah sakit waktu liburan.. buat beberapa lama g pikir g bakal harus masuk rumah sakit.. dan lagi sebagai tambahan setelah sembuh sedikit, karena g sering main infinity blade, tangan kanan g serasa kebas gara2 kebanyakan main.. trus juga si bapak kost yg bodo masih suka ngeluh tentang pompa air, walau keliatannya masalah pompa air udah selesai.. masalah ini yang menyebabkan delay di chapter 7..

untuk proyek selanjutnya, g akan trus mencoba scanlating Bomberman..
