Black pepper (Mr. Boembo)
Cornstarch (Pazola)
Sauce:
Dark soy sauce (Wei-chun)
Lemon rice vinegar (BekSul)
Chinese rice wine (Wan Ja Shan – Mirin)
sugar
chicken broth (Master Food)
ginger (Kupu Kupu)
Garlic
Other:
green onions
dried red chilli
Vegetable Oil

General Tso’s Chicken

Hmm.. Wee~~ Deep Fried chicken with corn starch coated battered.. I like this one, and it has a nice taste too from the sauce.. Wei Chun RULES!! albeit i tend to use twice the amount of dark soya from the recipe, stronger taste is better! Anyhow, i tend to ruin the shitake mushroom texture by chopping em too small, next time, i should just slice them big <3.. First timer to taste orange bell pepper too.. They taste somewhat like red and yellow combined.. And they are expensive.. SWT.. Eating this one overnight will make it very soggy..

hmm.. The recipe almost screwed me.. The maker told me to put it in oven for about an hour, but i saw mine already browned by around 45mins, so i took it on 50 mins and the meat side is a bit burnt.. thankfully not that it affected much of the meal.. However, this one tend to be sweet from the corn, while i remember the one that has strong taste. I planned to use beet on this one, but scrapped the plan away, seems like the casserole dish is full too~.. Cant find cream corn, i wonder how they taste
