Description:

Finally after so long pause because the crappiness of wordpress and might be the hosting, Porink appeared again before ya all.. Let’s peek into what porink cooked in about a week ago..

Mushroom Risotto

Aw.. Risotto.. While it’s not really Bulgarian, i tend to search one from someone who at least living in Bulgaria.. So the recipe comes from Bulgaria Village blogspot.. Aw.. The owner tend to show so much cherry.. I want cherry.. T_T.. anyway, it’s a rare for me to create something so non so called oily and not that meaty like this one, so we also bought vegetable powder just for this.. And it turned out great~ but eh, the spinach is not really in fresh manner.. ah ye, i tend to give this a feta cheese too since i got so much leftover from making Borek..

Telehko Vareno

Hmm when it appears in the wiki, this soup tend to have reddish appearance, so i thought it’s prolly related to hungarian goulash soup.. but the recipe i got from about give me more about broth and clear soup.. At first, we were planning to use veal meat, but i dont know where i could get something like that, so we bought sirloin in the end.. The moment i cooked it, it gives more fat than the one i used to cook, tenderloin.. But eh, this one tend to be like any other soup i know.. Clear one with potato and carrot..
After making it overnight, it tend to give so much strong taste, prolly because of that fat.. Smokie didnt quiet like it, well me too, but it’s just a little bit strong from my preferable.. I linger if sometimes i could create something like this again, not as strong but prolly almost the same.. The raccoon tend to dislike it.. {:{).. and he doesnt want shank too.. what a shame.. {:{).. Anyway, this recipe wont be that special, prolly i should look for the reddish coloured soup based~

Bulgarian Tikvichka Byurek

mmm at first i thought this one is easy.. and i tried myself.. with lack of zuchini because some turn to be rotten inside when i cut em.. i use feta cheese instead of bryndza which i dont even know of, but bulgarian tend to use white cheese so often, so this feta is prolly the nearest taste i could get.. keeping em together is a bit hard indeed while battering them in flour.. But eh, instead of flour-egg-flour, i prefer to do it egg-flour-egg-flour.. that’s just what i always do anyway.. the result turn not like in the picture, but at least they taste great~ and the feta wasnt leaking~ tried this one with chili sauce, didnt turn out really great, the yoghurt feta is awesome.. <3.. but as always raccoon didnt like it.. {:{) so to make sure of the future's recipe for dipping sauce, i think i'll make half or a quarter of what need to be made from the recipe..
